About Karen Yaffe
“I learned to sew from my mother at an early age. I remember her making me and my sisters dresses and I was fascinated. I have always been creative in some way, drawing, cross stitch, jewelry making, making and selling doll clothes.
It wasn’t until I went to a local quilt shop and was introduced to wool appliqué that I felt I found my true passion. I took a beginner class in 2010 and was hooked. I love the colors and textures of wool and all the hand stitching that is involved throughout to complete a design.
In 2020 I tried my hand at designing my own patterns and I haven’t looked back. It has been such an incredible journey and I feel so blessed.”
